Saturday, July 9th at The Harwinton Fairgrounds.  Harwinton’s gone Country!  Two Big Nashville Talents….1 night…1 ticket.  This concert features 2 of Nashville’s rising stars – opening the show is Nashville recording artist Frankie Justin Lamprey, then enjoy Starstruck Recording artist Caroline Cole, named a CMT Listen Up Artist, and is a rising country star!  She’s opened for Blake Shelton, Alan Jackson, Reba and others.  Enjoy some fabulous country music and help out a great cause – The Harwinton Lions Club!  Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 the day of the show.  Children 12 and under free, no pets, rain or shine, bring chairs, blankets & picnics!   Gates open at 2, concert starts at 5, get your tickets through The Warner Box Office, warnertheatre.org.

 

Saturday, July 9th at 8pm at The Thomaston Opera House.  Set in a northern mining town, during the 1984/85 miners’ strike, the story follows Billy’s journey as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class where he discovers a passion for dance that inspires his family and whole community and changes his life forever. Featuring a timeless score by Elton John, sensational dance and a powerful story that is both funny and uplifting, a spectacular theatrical experience that will stay with you forever.  Billy Elliot runs July 9th through the 24th with evening and matinee performances – for tickets and more info, visit landmark community theatre dot org.
