An event that’s been happening for 105 years – and still going strong…you know it’s gotta be good!  Labor Day weekend the gates open Saturday at 8am !   For three days of fun for the whole family, rides, woodcutting, truck and  tractor pulls, amazing shows,  contest and of course delicious  food!  Come see exhibits, arts and crafts, photography, live entertainment all weekend long.

 

Saturday, enjoy  Motown music  from Soul Sound Revue at 7 with  fireworks  at  8:45.  Sunday listen to  Torrington’s finest,  Apricot Brandy at 3. The neighborhood just got a serious upgrade – Rowley Grill and Tap is now open on Rowley Street in Winsted, and they’re taking casual dining to a whole new level, with a focus on great food, local craft beer, and a friendly atmosphere.  Featuring creative burger choices and over a dozen craft brews on tap, including local favorites, plus an awesome menu featuring great sandwiches, wings, salads, mac and cheese specialties, fantastic starters, and more!  Stop in for happy hour every Tuesday through Friday from 3 – 5.
